Qualifications and Experience DfES-recognised Qualified Teacher Status Successful teaching practice with more than one-year group Knowledge and Understanding Knowledge and understanding of the theory and practice of effective teaching and learning, including National Curriculum requirements or Foundation Stage requirements and national strategies to raise achievement.
